How does PortXchange work?
Gain efficiency in every step of the port call:
from berth arrival to port departure
from berth arrival to port departure
Shared platform for efficient collaboration
PortXchange provides shipping lines, carriers, agents, terminals and other service providers with a shared platform that they can use to exchange information about their port calls. Users can use the PortXchange dashboard or API to feed the data from their own systems.
Accurate and reliable timestamps
PortXchange combines public data, data retrieved directly from participating companies, and forecasts from AI applications to generate extremely accurate information about the planning of a port call. This increases the quality of the information exchange.
End-to-end port call process visibility
As soon as the ETA or ETD of any process is known, the vessel is assigned its own timeline in PortXchange. The timeline displays all events during the port call: from the vessel’s arrival to its departure from the port.
Real-time schedule updates
The progress and status of the events is continuously updated on the dashboard. Users can monitor events and make adjustments when necessary. If there are status changes, delays or planning conflicts, users will receive timely alerts.
